Diagnostic Services to University of Miami Investigators

The Division of Comparative Pathology provides diagnostic services to the Division of Veterinary Resources (DVR).  These include a rodent health monitoring program and individual testing for suspected intercurrent diseases.  Additional information can be found on the DVR website

Excellence in research requires high quality analysis of biological specimens to determine if the intervention will make a difference.  Testing indicated will vary based on each study’s objectives.  These analyses may include hematological, clinical chemistry, body fluids, hormonal, urinalyses, cytological, and histological examinations.

The most commonly requested tests are listed below; however, many specialized analyses, panels, and procedures are available on request.  Please contact our laboratory.
